The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High \u201cChicago\u201d is a limited edition collaboration between Marcus Jordan\u2019s sneaker boutique and Jordan Brand on Michael Jordan\u2019s iconic first signature shoe. Michael\u2019s son Marcus\u2019s Trophy Room boutique adds a vintage look to the classic \u201cChicago\u201d colorway as an ode to Michael\u2019s wearing of the shoe during the 1985 NBA All-Star Game. Memorably, Jordan was \u201cfrozen out\u201d at one point in the game by fellow stars Isiah Thomas and Julius Erving, who refused to pass him the ball as part of a \u201clesson\u201d to teach Jordan, then an up-and-coming rookie. Several subtle nods to the \u201cfreeze out\u201d appear on the shoe, beginning with the icy texture covering the red leather overlays found on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel. Elsewhere, white leather appears on the perforated toe and on the mid-panel. Black shoelaces sit atop the white nylon tongue that features a red nylon tongue tag with \u201cNike Air\u201d branding.
